take the class.

I understand questions and get feedback from Hispanic employees prior to them performing the specific task I requested. The Speak Spanish class helped me to realize that Hispanic employees often think they understand English instructions but do not want to clarify for fear the Supervisor will not think as highly of them. The misunderstanding of instructions often results in tasks performed that are not required wasting time, money, effort.
